Students LOVE Jazz Camp!

“What I enjoyed most about the camp was the people and just learning how to get out of the music and how it's ok to not use sheet music all the time. Also, I loved that we were pushed out of our comfort zone and were able to become better musicians. I loved the staff and all the musicians!”

“The impromptu jam sessions, both with students and the faculty. I just loved getting to play with others without having to worry about me sounding bad. Also, the little moments of communication that us rhythm section had while playing. It didn't just feel like we were playing music, it felt like we were making music, and that it all came alive.”

“I would tell them  (other students) that it is the best experience that I’ve had. I would also tell them that it was a great way to meet new people and that the teachers are the best.”
